Houghton Brass

The Houghton Brass is a faculty/student ensemble comprised of Dr. Paul DeBoer, trumpet, Dr. Gregory Magie, horn, and three students.

Performing brass literature of the Renaissance to the present, students have the opportunity to play brass literature in a chamber ensemble. It enhances their learning opportunities through interaction with our brass faculty.

Membership in the ensemble is by audition. The group performs at Houghton College, at churches and at schools.
