BIBLE MAJOR:
The 27 hour major in Bible consists of 24 hours of Bible courses numbered 211 or above, plus 3 hours in theology (see chart below).  Biblical Literature is a prerequisite for all Bible courses. No more than three hours of theology can be credited toward this major.

BIBLE MINOR:
The minor in Bible consists of 12 hours in Bible, numbered 211 or above.

Bible Major (BA, BS) - 27 hours
Required courses for the major but without major credit:
BIBL 101 Biblical Literature 3 credits
Major required courses:
BIBL 221 Biblical Interpretation 3 credits
BIBL 231 Pentateuch 3 credits
BIBL 233 Life of Christ 3 credits
At least one New Testament Course 3 credits
At least one Old Testament Course 3 credits
Bible electives 211 or above 6 credits
Senior Capstone: Senior Seminar 3 credits
One theology course from the following:
THEL 313 Systematic Theology 3 credits
THEL 351 Biblical Theology: Old Testament 3 credits
THEL 352 Biblical Theology: New Testament 3 credits
