The applicant should have a passionate love of Christ, a maturity that models Christ's likeness, a love of young people and a desire that they know and grow in Christ.  The candidate should have a college undergraduate education, presently be a college or graduate student, or be an adjunct professor.  Calvary Evangelical Free Church has a strong, active youth ministry and is very supportive of its youth and youth outreach.  They are located in West Essex County, north of Livingston and Roseland, south  of Caldwell, just a minute away from exit 5B of 280 and ten minutes from I80.  They have a full gym and large youth room as part of their facility.  This position could grow into a full time given the right person, team relationship, growth of the youth ministry and growth in the church.  They have a dedicated youth staff (5) in place that would look for leadership and would support and work with this pastor.  A successful candidate would work under the senior pastor with his guidance and support.  The church offers a reasonable per hour salary commensurate with the the given mix of godliness, abilities, education and experience.  Their is also an apartment which could be used in lieu of salary or with some equitable arrangement for compensation.
