Description of terms:

Faculty member-- a faculty member is anyone who 1) teaches at least six credit hours during the present semester, 2) is considered to be a faculty member by virtue of his or her position or 3) is declared a faculty member by action of the rank and tenure committee.  These individuals have voting privileges at faculty meetings.
