•  I appreciate the Laptop initiative; would not have gotten a computer otherwise, most of my professors did not use it.
• Laptop was a positive feature.
• Why canít students buy their own laptops!
• Students should be able to buy their own laptops
• Laptops are overpriced.  The Help Desk is fairly useless and the network stability is horrid.
• People at helpdesk are great
• The professors did not use them as learning aid, network was down often
• I wish the laptops were incorporated with the classes more and that we had more solid services.
• The server is down too much
• This area of the college is not yet acceptable
• Tech services should be faster to upgrade systems.  Windows 95 is out of date.
• GroupWise is frequently down.  Sometimes the firewall is overzealous ó a friend of mine had difficulty researching a paper about abortion because the sites were blocked.
• We feel strongly that servicing of computers when they don't work well needs to be better.  Our son had quite a bit of trouble with his.
• We did experience some frustrations when the server was down.
• Bigger and better computers needed for CS majors.  Maybe a separate package offered.
