Houghton College Choir to perform at New York State School Music Educator Association conventions in December 1, 2007.

The Houghton College Choir will be performing at the New York State School Music Educator Association Winter Convention on Saturday December 1st. The concert/master-class will be held in the Rochester at the Convention center.

The Houghton College Choir will perform Dvorak Te Deum and Faure Pavane with the Syracuse Symphony.

2006 American Choral Directors Fall Men's Choir Festival to be hosted at Houghton College
The University of Michigan's Jerry Blackstone to present master-classes at Houghton College

The Houghton College student chapter of American Choral Director’s Association is proud to announce that they will be sponsoring a multi-day conducting workshop led by guest conductor Dr. Jerry Blackstone, of the University of Michigan. Dr. Blackstone will be on campus February 16 & 17 and will be working with Houghton College ensembles and conductors.

The Houghton College Choir will be performing at the New York State School Music Educator Association Winter Convention on Saturday December 2nd at 8:30am. The concert/masterclass will be held in the Rochester at the Convention center.
The Choir will also perform at the Erie County Music Educators Association 2007 Convention Day. The Concert will be held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center at 11:15am.

The Houghton College Choir will be traveling to the mid-west February 21-March 2nd on 2008.
