The Houghton College Choir Makes Lincoln Center Debut

The American Choral Directors Association presents:

An Evening of Choral Artistry
Wednesday, March 1st, 2006 at 8:00 pm
Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center

The American Choral Director Association has invited four outstanding collegiate choral ensembles to provide a memorable evening of choir music at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. Ensembles will perform masterworks from Johann Sebastian Bach, Samuel Barber, Johannes Brahms, Roland de Lassus, Camille Saint-Saëns in addition to newer works from Wolfram Buchenberg, Stephen Caldwell, René Clausen, Colin Dill, Cynthia Folio, Arvo Pärt, and Eric Whitacre.

The four ensembles are:

  • Houghton College Choir (Brandon Johnson, Conductor)
  • Temple University Concert Choir (Alan Harler, Conductor)
  • Queens College Vocal Ensemble (James John, Conductor
  • Westminster Choir College of Rider University's Jubilee Singers (J. Donald Dumpson, Conductor)
