Nan Gullo Richmond received her DMA from the Eastman School of Music in 1992, and is also a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music. There she studied harp with Marcel Grandjany and composition with Vincent Persichetti. She made her New York City Town Hall debut as a winner of the Concert Artists Guild and was a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony for six years. She was soloist with the Chicago Little Symphony and has made three tours of the U.S., Europe, and the Near East. Dr. Richmond has published articles in Music Journal and other periodicals. She has taught at Penn State. In addition to her teaching at Houghton College, she currently teaches in Eastman's Community Education Division, where she is Senior Associate in Harp, Director of the Harp Choir, and Director of the annual Harp Workshop held in July at Eastman.
