Chapel Schedule for Mayterm, 2008

 

Mayterm chapels will meet Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 in the Campus Center Lounge for a six-part study of John Ortberg's The Life You've Always Wanted.

 

Mayterm/Summer

 

O Room available for Mayterm Golf course. If you are on campus during Mayterm, you can add golf as an afternoon course to round out your schedule. Go sign up now at the Academic Records Office.

 

Administrative & Academic

 

Dean Brittain is in the preliminary stages of planning a trip to Thailand during Mayterm 2009.  If you would like to be kept up to date as this progresses, let him know.

 

Congratulations to our Life @ Houghton Photo Contest winners!  First place ($100) goes to Kirsten Hughes; second place ($75): Wes Dean; third place ($50): Rachel Lees.  Thanks to all who submitted pictures to the contest!

 

Not Returning?  If you are transferring from Houghton at the end of the spring semester or Mayterm you must stop by ACADEMIC RECORDS to pick up an official withdrawal form.

 

Final Grades: Final grades are not automatically sent home.  Students may view grades online after May 21.  Students whose parents want a copy of the grades sent home must stop at ACADEMIC RECORDS and fill out a release form.

 

Diplomas:  Diplomas will be mailed to the address that is most current in the computer. If you are think that we might have the wrong address please stop by ACADEMIC RECORDS to verify what is in the computer.  We DO NOT keep copies of diplomas so they are the sole responsibility of the student.  Never surrender the original.  If an employer or foreign government wants it, make a copy of the original and have it notarized.         

 

Mayterm Housing for main campus opens at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 12.  If you are planning on living on campus and did not get a placement card, contact Dennis Stack in Student Life ASAP.
