Commissioner of Communications

Welcome to the Commissioner of Communications Webpage! Many people, once they hear my very long and official-sounding title will ask me what exactly I do. My response is usually a generic one—“oh, I communicate things.” I was told that that was not informative enough for the website so I’ll just say that my job is a cross between secretarial work (like taking minutes at meetings) and public relations (sending out emails and organizing donut days). My job is essentially this: to tell you what we’ve been doing and gather feedback from you on what you think we should be doing! If you have any questions, concerns or comments I would love to hear them! Just send me an e-mail!

Communications Committee

I am the Chair of the Communications Committee, which was set up to organize all communication between the SGA, administration, and the students. I have set forth a few goals for this year. Along with some help from the senators, the committee has resurrected the bi-weekly informative SGA flyer called “Now You Know.” Also, in an attempt to further interact with students, faculty, and staff, the committee has increased the number of donuts and selections of teas and coffees for the SGA Donut Days! The committee is always looking for feedback if you have any comments, questions, or concerns about anything. If you are interested in serving on this committee please get in contact with me.
