SGA Senate
The SGA Senate meets every Thursday at 8:15 PM in Little
Schaller Hall. All Houghton students are welcome to attend and
participate in discussion.

The purpose of the SGA Senate is to serve the needs of the student
body and initiate discussion and action for student problems. This
may take the form of legislative action, such as certain budget
allocations, the election of student representatives to college
committees, or the creation of student clubs. If the issue falls
outside the direct control of SGA, the Senate will initiate the
process for finding a solution, such as finding out which
administrators can make the changes, and the procedures for going
about that.
