Student Representative to the Alumni Board

An important part of the Office of the Vice President is student-alumni relations. Over the course of the school year the Vice President is responsible for meeting with the Alumni Board to report on student activities and foster a working relationship. Over the course of this term I intend to further this relationship through an Alumni awareness campaign. Look for more information coming in January.

Blood Drives

The American Red Cross has a tradition of expecting great results from Houghton. This year is no different. We will be holding Blood Drives in October, December, January, and April, all spaced so that you can donate at each drive. In the past Houghton has done exceedingly well at producing active pints. As an extra encouragement we will be offering prizes and giveaways as an extra incentive to give. Help us reach our goal of four hundred pints by the end of the school year, and together we can save a life.


 Blood Drive Update!!
119 productive pints of blood were collected at the first Blood Drive of the semester. We far exceeded our goal. Way to go everyone!!!
