The Student Health Center offers confidential assessment, diagnosis, and treatment or referral for common illness to Houghton College students. In general, we can provide services that you would normally see your family physician for. For medical problems that are beyond the scope of care provided at the SHC, students are referred to a specialist, with guidance and coordination of care provided through the SHC staff.
