International Students

International students make up an exciting and vibrant part of Houghton's student community. Our current group of international students represents more than 17 different countries on 5 continents. This includes a strong Canadian student population of more than 30 students. International students are strongly encouraged to consider Houghton for their undergraduate and graduate studies. We are proud of our international students and gladly welcome all qualified international citizens to apply.

The Intercultural Student Programs Office works closely with all of our international students to make sure they have the necessary support, advice, and documentation to study at Houghton. We pay special attention to ensuring that our international students have the immigration and visa support that they need to live and study in the United States. In addition, we work hard to make sure your transition to college life in a new country and culture goes smoothly. We have a strong desire to see all our international students succeed, not only academically, but socially, emotionally, and personally as well.
