Education Technology Initiative

Houghton College is committed to integrating information technology into the teaching and learning process. Under the direction of the Teaching, Learning and Technology Roundtable we have embarked on an Educational Technology Initiative that includes computers and network updated, having all incoming first-year students equipped with laptop computers, and integrating the use of technology into the teaching and learning process.

In the Fall of 2002, Houghton began a new partnership with a world-leader in technology, IBM. More Specifically Houghton has joined Thinkpad University, a world-renowned program which connects Universities all over the world to share knowledge and experience gained through educating students using technology.
