Laptop Return Guidelines

The Student is allowed to retain uninterrupted possession of the Equipment while enrolled as a full-time student at the College provided that no actions precluding such possession are taken by the Student.

A.      Student who has completed less than eight semesters at the College who ceases to be enrolled “full-time” at the College may exercise one of the following options:

1)     Immediately purchase the Equipment based upon its original value less ratable depreciation as of the end of the student’s last completed term. Depreciation reductions reflect a four-year life and a 10% residual value.  The right to require the student to satisfy all outstanding balances with the college prior to such a purchase is reserved.

2)  Return the laptop with all books, cd's/dvd's, ethernet cable, power brick and cord to Technology Services

3)       A student temporarily falling below the hours required for full-time status but remaining enrolled at the College may be required to pay a $70 rental per month.

4)       Returned Equipment is required to have all consumables in like-new condition, including the battery.  Alternatively, the student may choose to purchase the laptop.
