Family of Edward^8 G. Van Wicklin
Edward^8 G. Van Wicklin (Gates^7, John^6, Jan^5, Paul^4, Garret^3, Gerrit^2, Jentie^1
Jeppes), b. 1868, Brighton, Ontario (Edward outlived four wives. His first wife appears to have been Lottie, according to the 1900 US Census. Lottie would appear to be the biological mother of Edward R. and Viola. Arabelle F. from the 1910 US Census may either be a more formal name for Lottie or perhaps his second wife. Another wife, Cecelia (_____) Van Wicklin (b. 1880, d. 1926) is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, Monroe County, NY. Jeanette Dey Van Wicklin is listed in the obituary [source section below] appears to have been Edward's fourth wife.)
Children:
(by marriage to Lottie ______):
Note: In the 1910 US Census, Edward^9 Roy is
listed as Byron W. Van Wicklin. Yet, this same individual is listed as Edward in

the time of the 1930 US Census, Edward G. Van Wicklin, age 61 (b. 1868,
Brighton, Ont., CAN) resided in Rochester, Monroe, NY with his daughter, Viola
F. Van Wicklin, age 28. 1900 US Census for Brighton, Monroe, NY lists Edward G. Van Wicklin, head, b. July 1868, Can (Can, Can), 31 (M-3), teamster, with Lottie, wife, b. Oct. 1873, 26, (M-3), Eng (Eng, Eng) and son, Edward R., b. Mar 1898, NY (Can, Eng), 2. (A nearly identical entry to this one is found in the 1900 US Census pages for Greece, Monroe, NY. Only difference is that Lottie is b. NY (NY, NY) and Edward is b. Mar 1899 and is 1 year old. It appears as if they may have lived on the border of Brighton and Greece in Monroe County and were interviewed by two separate census takers, perhaps with Edward answering one time and Lottie answering the other time?) 1910 US Census for Ward 10 (ED103) of 126 Selye Terrace, Rochester, Monroe, NY lists Edward G.
