Display Problems with Greek.

The Greek for this text was written to go along with the Graeca font. You may have trouble viewing it, though. If you download this document and view it through Word for Windows 95 or greater (which can read HTML documents), and you have the Graeca font installed, you should have no problem.

For Browsing in Navigator:  If you have this font installed on your system, the Greek words should display if you go to the menu in Netscape Navigator, select "Options" and "General Preferences".

Choose "Fonts" tab.

Under "For the Encoding" click on the selection box, and select "Greek."

Next to "Use the Proportional Font" you will see a box marked "Choose Font"; click it.

Select "Graeca" from your list of installed fonts.

Choose "OK".

Unfortunately, even after doing all this--which should work--my system is not displaying all the Graeca characters properly. The characters for diacritical marks seem to be displayed as if in a different font altogether. If I cannot fix this in a couple days, or if I hear from seminar members that they do not have access to a copy of the Graeca font, I will replace all the Greek with italicized roman characters (as I began to do in a few places already).
